About Us
FRANKLYN C. STEINBERG, III
Frank is the founder and principal of Steinberg Law, LLC. His practice is focused on business litigation, employment, aviation and sports law.
Frank began his career as a law clerk to the Hon. Frederick B. Lacey, one of the most distinguished trial judges of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He received his early training as a trial lawyer at a prestigious New Jersey law firm. Raised in an entrepreneurial family, Frank decided to put his experience to work in his own practice more than 20 years ago, and he has been at it ever since.
Over the past 30 years, Frank has litigated hundreds of complex matters before the State and Federal courts. His extensive trial experience spans a wide range of cases. He has litigated both jury and non-jury trials and has argued appellate matters in the U.S. Court of Appeals, the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, and the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He frequently represents clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
A lot of Frank's practice is devoted to employment law. He represents employers, executives and individuals in employment disputes. Many of these matters are resolved through his successful negotiation of separation agreements.
An avid pilot for more than 40 years, Frank holds a commercial pilot's certificate and actively practices in the area of aviation law.
Frank is a 1974 magna cum laude graduate of Denison University. He received his law degree in 1977 from Seton Hall University Law School where he also served as Managing Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New Jersey (1977), the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (1977) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (1978).
Frank has been a featured speaker for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and various professional groups.
When he's not practicing law, you'll find Frank in his kayak, up in the air or golfing (the last usually with less than stellar results). A devotee of the Beach Boys and a lifelong summer time resident of the Jersey Shore (the real one, not the TV show), he is still trying to get the hang of surfing.
